A small story of obsession.
I've been playing RPGi's since I was 8. Needless to say, Final Fantasy has turned into a serious part of my lifestyle. On February 19, 2005, I flew to Chicago to see Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy which was a set list of FF songs done in a symphonic setting. Nobuo Uematsu was in attendance which really was an experience. I can't believe I went from falling in love with the music when I was a child, to becoming an adult, and still loving the music enough to get on a plane (for the first time) and fly somewhere to see a symphony play the songs I grew up obsessing over. I also love to look at Yoshitaka Amano's FF artwork. He is amazing. I collect soundtracks, action figures, posters, art books, keychains, and basically ANYthing that is Final Fantasy. My favorite FF game is FF6, my favorite characters are Terra, Cloud, and Edea. I have been playing since I was 8, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I am also obsessed with Chrono Trigger (also part of Squaresoft a.k.a. Square Enix, a.k.a. Squeenix <3), which in my opinion is the best RPG of all time.
I got to actually meet one of my favorite people in the world, Nobuo Uematsu, at the Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy concert in Chicago :) I was dressed up as Edea, and took a picture with him :D And I got to be on a video for the Black Mages that is on their website. Best. Weekend. Ever.
